IRONSCALES is a self-learning email security platform that protects organizations from phishing, business email compromise, and account takeover at scale. The product sits inside the email security category — alongside Proofpoint, Mimecast, and Abnormal — and competes on AI-driven threat detection plus security awareness training built into the same platform.
The buyer is the security buying committee: CISO, security architect, IT director. The sales motion is named-account driven, with significant inbound demand from buyers actively evaluating the email security category.
The problem
IRONSCALES, an innovative email security scaleup, faced challenges setting average benchmarks on inbound MQL and SQL costs. As the company advertised on multiple channels, each with its own reporting capabilities, IRONSCALES had to rely on manual data exports to compare lead performance between channels. The team needed real-time visibility into lead volume, lead cost, and stage-to-stage conversion rates to make budget decisions with confidence.
The work
Our team simplified and automated the reporting process by building a centralized integrated dashboard. Integrated reporting combined cost data from different ad platforms with GA4 and CRM data — surfacing real-time lead volume, lead cost, and stage-to-stage conversion rates across channels and campaigns. The data infrastructure runs entirely on automated pipelines from and to the CRM, allowing channel attribution of leads and deals plus campaign optimization based on deep-funnel metrics in the ad platforms.
