The customer is the digital subscriber — typically a business decision-maker, finance professional, or policy reader. The economic model depends on subscriber acquisition and retention, making analytics infrastructure across multiple brand websites a strategic, not just technical, concern.

Economedia, with multiple brand websites, faced the urgent need to migrate from Universal Analytics to GA4. Managing analytics across numerous websites with distinct tracking needs, they also aimed to integrate their data into a centralized system to enhance insights and decision-making — all while adhering to a tight deadline. The risk: an incomplete migration would break attribution across the entire publishing portfolio.

What we built.

We approached the challenge by: conducting a thorough audit of the existing analytics setup, developing a detailed roadmap for GA4 migration, implementing GA4 and Google Tag Manager across all sites including cross-brand User-ID tracking, and integrating GA4 with BigQuery to support advanced analytics and centralized data management. Our role spanned consulting, implementation, quality assurance, and future-proofing — designing a scalable architecture for future data-driven initiatives.
