Serious work, unserious team.
We help B2B tech companies — mostly in the US — get more customers. 50-ish of us, in Sofia, Ruse, Blagoevgrad, and a Boston outpost. You bring sharp thinking and English. We'll teach you the tools.
The people you'd work with
Mila I. · Paid Media · 2 yrs
"Joined as a junior in 2023. Two years in, I run paid for a US client across three channels."
Dimitar M. · Hiring manager, Sofia
"You'll talk to me first. No trick questions — just the work. You don't need to know our tools yet."
Yasen L. · Lead, AI & Automation
"We build AI agents on top of Claude and Juma. You don't need to be technical to help shape them."

Who we hire
Sharp people. Any background.
We've built a team of sharp people, and we're looking for more. About a third joined with no marketing background — we care less about what's on your CV, more about how you think and how fast you learn.
If you're starting out
Paired with a senior from week one. Calendar time to learn, not just deliver.
If you're switching careers
Writers, analysts, sales, engineers — we've hired from all of them. Modern marketing rewards the mix.
If you've done this for years
Peers who already know the tools. Less explaining, more shipping. Plus AI agents taking the busywork off your plate.
What we screen for
Sharp thinking. Judgment under uncertainty. Written English. The honesty to say "I don't know yet" — and the drive to go find out. Tools we'll teach.
We hire on potential, not pedigree — and without regard to age, gender, background, or disability. If you need an accommodation at any stage of the process, just say so.
By the numbers
We invest in the people we hire. Here are the numbers that prove it.
Retention · 2025
94.6%
The people who join tend to stay.
Training · per person
130h+
Per year, on your calendar. 11–14% of your working time, blocked off — not a perk you have to fight for.
Avg paid leave taken
33d
Unlimited paid leave that people actually use.
"Whether you're new to this work or already deep in it — you'd grow faster here than anywhere else I've been."
The people you'd sit next to explain things instead of rolling their eyes. The 130 hours of training, the mentor on day one — all real. You'd grow here on purpose, not by accident.
In their own words
Three people, three routes in.
No founder quotes — the people you'd actually work with, in their own words.

Paid Media · 2 yrs
"Joined as a junior in 2023 after running social ads for restaurants in Plovdiv. Two years in, I run paid for a US dev-tools client across three channels. The senior on my team explained everything I didn't know — none of this would've happened at my old job."
Dimitar M.
Hiring Manager · Sofia · 4 yrs
"I'm usually the first call. Not trying to catch you out — I want to see how you think. Bring a point of view, even a wrong one defended well. You don't need to know our tools yet."

"Claude and Juma every day. The real work is the agents we build on top. You don't need to be technical to help shape them — most of the team isn't."
What you'd build on
What your week would actually look like.
We help B2B tech companies turn visitors into customers — ads, SEO, and wiring up their data so they can see what's working. 7 in 10 clients are US-based. New words below? There's a learning path for every tool on day one.
Timezones: most calls land 3–6pm Sofia. Past 7pm it's flagged and the next morning is yours. Nobody here works American hours by default.
Pipeline stage funnel
Wiring up the data so a client can see what's actually driving sales — not vanity clicks.
Campaign · CPA by channel
Running ad campaigns on LinkedIn, Google, and Meta — spending the budget where it actually brings in customers.
Content brief · graph databases
▎ Draft outline
Writing content that ranks in both Google and ChatGPT — so customers find our clients first.
For the curious MQL = a lead that looks serious enough to talk to. ABM = targeting specific companies, not random people. CPA = how much it cost us to get one. You'll learn them all in your first month.
The people doing it
~50 teammates across four offices. Paid, SEO, analytics, engineering, creative, strategy — all in one team.
A few of the companies we've partnered with
Recent work · B2B developer tools
2.4× qualified pipeline in six months — on the same paid budget.
A US developer-tools scale-up was burning budget on broad-match keywords and vanity MQLs. We rebuilt measurement on GA4 + server-side tags, rewired ABM to Stage-1 opportunities, and handed the team a weekly view that ties every channel back to revenue.

Life at Verto
The part that's hard to write and easy to show.
Specialty coffee bars we take more seriously than we should. Thirsty Thursdays, Value Week, offsites, whatever the team's cooking up. Instagram is the honest version.
Instagram feed loads the latest posts from @vertodigitalagency. When it's quiet, it's quiet — we don't script this.

Per year, on calendar
Training
Blocked off in advance. Skills, tools, whatever helps you get better.
1:1 + development plan
Continuous feedback
You and your manager build a Personal Development Plan and keep checking in. Feedback when it matters — not saved for review time.
Per year
Workshops
Feedback, presenting, managing up — the soft stuff that's actually hard.
Per year · 360°
Evaluation cycles
Mid-year and end-of-year. Structured 360° feedback from peers and managers — written, specific, no vague spreadsheet ratings.
Plus a personal training budget (Coursera, books, conferences — yours to spend) and written level-up criteria, so you know what you're being measured on.
The short list
Perks & benefits.
The headline stuff. Full details come up in the first call.

Bonus and profit share are the same pool. Across the last three years it's averaged 2× base salary across the team.
Private health + your kit
Private health insurance, Campus X gym (Sofia), MacBook Pro by default — or your machine of choice — plus whatever else you need to do the job.
A team you'd want a beer with
Thirsty Thursdays, Value Week, two company-wide offsites a year, specialty coffee on tap.
Agents do the grunt work. You do the thinking.
Claude and Juma, every day — no technical background needed. On top, we engineer custom agents for the messy problems off-the-shelf tools can't crack. Less copy-paste, more interesting work.

Agents in production
What agents do
Audience builds, copy variants, weekly GA4 reports, competitor scans, brief drafting — the repetitive 60%.
What you do
The strategy call, the client judgment, deciding what's worth shipping, what to throw away — the part that still needs a human.
What it means for your career
A junior here at 12 months handles the scope of a mid-level at most agencies — because the busywork is already automated.
Agent · 01
LinkedIn Audience Agent
Builds ideal-customer-profile audiences from CRM + firmographics. Keeps them fresh without a human touching Campaign Manager.
Agent · 02
Ad Copy Agent
Writes and tests headline / body / CTA variations per audience — in our clients' voice, not a stock LLM voice.
Agent · 03
SEO Content Brief Agent
Turns a target keyword into a writer-ready brief: entities, intent, outline, AI-search signals.
Agent · 04
GA4 Reporting Agent
Produces weekly client reports directly from GA4 + CRM joins. No copy-paste, no screenshots.
Agent · 05
Competitor Research Agent
Monitors competitor ads, landing pages, and SERP shifts — flags the ones that should change how we're buying.
+ 5 more
A few still in staging
Pricing intelligence, account-tier scoring, pipeline anomaly detection, ICP refinement, briefing automation.

How we work together
Our values.
Here's what we'd ask of you, and what you can ask of us. If any of these would annoy you to live with day-to-day, we're probably not your people — and that's fine.
01 — Explore
We Explore
Curiosity before certainty. We'd rather ship a rough experiment and learn than argue the perfect framework for a quarter.
02 — Create Value
We Create Value
Pipeline and revenue are the scoreboard. If the work doesn't move one of them, we ask why before we ask for the budget.
03 — Shine
We Shine
Own your work. Bring your best, visibly — in the meeting, in the deliverable, in the pull request. Quiet excellence still counts.
04 — Get It Done
We Get It Done
Ship beats perfect. When the path is obvious, move. When it isn't, pick one and commit. Rework is cheap; drift is expensive.
05 — Share
We Share
Defaults to open. What you learn belongs to the team before it belongs to you — the playbook, the failure, the Loom, the one useful line.
06 — Care
We Care
About teammates, about clients, about the work — on the hard days especially. "Yes, and" beats "no, but" almost every time.

What happens after you apply
- 1 First chat with the hiring manager — your story and ours. ~45 min.

- 3 Final round with 2–3 of the people you'd actually work with.
End-to-end: 2–3 weeks. A real human reads every CV. No trick questions.

FAQ
Questions people ask.
What's the interview process like?
Usually a first chat with the hiring manager, a practical task or work sample, and a final round with 2–3 people from the team you'd work with. Two to three weeks end-to-end. No trick questions.
What about salary?
Each role lists its salary range and contract type on TalentHR. We'll discuss your expectations openly in the first call — bring yours. On top of base, the team's profit-based bonus has averaged 2× base salary across the last three years.
Is the work sample paid?
It's time-boxed to ~2–3 hours and unpaid at that scope — the kind of work we need to see to make a decision. If we ask for more than that, we pay your day rate. We don't believe in 3-day "test projects".
What does hybrid actually mean?
Three days in the office, two flexible. We value the in-person time — especially in your first 3–6 months when you're ramping up.
Which offices hire for which teams?
Most roles can be based in any of our three Bulgarian offices. A few roles are Sofia-only by default — we'll note that clearly in the job description.
Do you hire juniors?
Yes, regularly. We hire for curiosity and trajectory as much as current skills — especially in SEO, Paid, and Analytics.
What languages do I need?
Fluent English for client work. Bulgarian is useful internally but not required for most roles.
Do I need to be in Bulgaria?
For most roles, yes. Some remote flexibility exists, but we expect you to be in-country and in the office for your first 3–6 months.
Will I be on US hours?
No — not by default. Most client calls land 3–6pm Sofia. If something runs past 7pm it's flagged and the next morning is yours. The Boston outpost exists so nobody here has to live on US time.
Do I have to relocate to Sofia?
Only if the role is marked Sofia-only. Most roles are open across Sofia, Ruse, and Blagoevgrad — pick the base that makes your commute sane. Same comp, same work, same team.
Are AI agents replacing roles at Verto?
Honestly: agents are replacing tasks, not people. The manual 60% of a junior's week — audience builds, ad-copy variants, GA4 reports — is what we're automating. The result is that juniors here take on mid-level scope within a year, and nobody's job is the copy-paste part. If anything, we're hiring more people, not fewer.
